After spending nearly two decades with the club, Alessandro Florenzi has officially left AS Roma.
The capital club announced late this evening they’ve reached an agreement with Milan for the permanent transfer of the 31 year-old after he spent this past season on loan with the Scudetto-winners.
Florenzi joined the club’s youth ranks in 2002 and made his debut for the first team in May 2011 and went on to make 279 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring 28 goals.
However, he couldn’t find space in the team following the arrival of former Roma manager Paulo Fonseca in the summer of 2019, paving the way for a series of loan moves to Valencia for six months and PSG for the 2020/21 campaign.
