Elche has signed Buba Sangaré on a permanent deal. It’s now official.

The 2007-born player, who played 541 minutes for the Spanish club last season, will remain in Spain for the next season.

Roma announced the completion of the deal in a post on their official X account: “Buba Sangaré has joined Elche on a permanent deal. The Spanish club has exercised its option to buy the player.”

The Roman club retains a 20% interest in the future capital gain and a right of first refusal on the 2007-born full-back.

The 18-year-old full-back arrived in the capital in the summer of 2024 from Levante, with a 10% interest in the future resale price.

The Giallorossi thus secure a small, significant capital gain, useful in meeting UEFA’s Financial Fair Play restrictions.
