One day after announcing the contract renewal of Aleksandar Kolarov, AS Roma has announced that Bryan Cristante has also signed a new deal with the club.
Cristante, 24, has put pen-to-paper on a new four-and-a-half year deal, which runs until 30 June 2024.
“I’m delighted to renew my contract,” Cristante said. “This is where I want to be, to keep on improving; I believe in the project we are building here and I think it can be very successful.”
Cristante joined the Giallorossi in 2018 from Atalanta and has since gone on to make 54 appearances for the club – scoring five goals.
“I was well aware of Bryan’s technical ability even before I came to Roma,” said club sporting director Gianluca Petrachi. “Once I got here, I also had the chance to observe and appreciate the dedication and drive he brings to his work every day.”
