Daniele De Rossi has been officially appointed Roma’s long-term head coach.
Today the club made the official announcement as De Rossi is set to continue to manage the Giallorossi for the next three years.
In an official note, Roma stated the following:
“AS Roma is pleased to formalize the renewal of Daniele De Rossi’s contract as Technical Manager of the First Team until 2027.
Having arrived on the bench on 16 January 2024, Daniele led the Giallorossi group in 26 official matches, 18 in the championship and 8 in the Europa League until the semi-final.
Before the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals, the owners – the Friedkin Group – had announced in a note their desire to continue with DDR. “We couldn’t be happier to build a long-term project with Daniele”, the words of the Owners in the press release dated April 18th.
