Davide Frattesi has officially completed his move to Inter from Sassuolo after being heavily pursued by Roma.
Although the midfielder won’t be returning to the Italian capital, his transfer to the Nerazzurri still benefitted the Giallorossi, who are entitled to 30% of the total transfer fee earned by the Neroverdi from the deal.
Inter acquired the Frattesi on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy totaling €27 million (including bonuses). As a result, the Giallorossi will net over €8 million from the operation, helping ensure they remain compliant with the Financial Fair Play settlement they agreed to with UEFA earlier this year.
