After taking part in Jose Mourinho’s preseason training camp as one of the leaders of the club’s Primavera, Giacomo Faticanti penned a contract renewal until 2026.
Roma made the following announcement on their official website:
“The club is pleased to announce that young midfielder Giacomo Faticanti has signed a new contract with the Giallorossi.
Faticanti, 18, has signed a four-year deal with Roma that runs until 30 June 2026.
“Giacomo demonstrates all the values we look for in our young players and he has everything necessary to continue to progress and be successful,” said Vincenzo Vergine, the club’s Head of Youth Development.
“That is why we are absolutely delighted to be able to announce his new contract.”
Faticanti, a versatile central midfielder, joined the club’s academy system in the summer of 2018.
A regular presence for the Primavera last season, he was also included in Jose Mourinho’s first-team squad for this summer’s pre-season training camp in Portugal.
Congratulations, Giacomo!”
