After originally joining the club in 2019 from Fiorentina, Jordan Veretout’s three-year stint at Roma has officially come to an end.
The midfielder has officially completed a move to Marseille on a permanent deal for a fee of €11 million plus €4.5 million in potential bonuses. The bonuses are tied to the number of appearances made by Veretout in addition to Marseille successfully qualifying for the Champions League.
Veretout penned a multi-year contract with the French side and has chosen to wear the number 27 shirt for the club.
The Frenchman’s tenure with the Giallorossi ends with a final tally of 131 total appearances in addition to 22 goals and 16 assists in all competitions.
