Roma have revealed the official squad list for the upcoming Europa League engagements.
The capital club were forced by UEFA’s Financial Fair Play parameters to limit the number of players available for this competition.
The rule stems from a cost-cutting measure meant to prevent the club from fielding a roster that does not match FFP’s limitations tied to the costs of the team.
As a result, Roma have had to exclude two of their latest signings.
The club announced on their official website that Rasmus Kristensen and Sardar Azmoun will not be eligible to play in Roma’s Europa League campaign.
