TAS (Tribunal of Arbitration for Sport) has officially handed down their sentence in Milan for violating Financial Fair Play rules. The Rossoneri are suspended from participating in this season’s Europa League competition. Roma will move from the preliminary rounds to the group stage while Torino will now be admitted into the competition. Here is the full announcement:
“TAS renders the following judgement: AC Milan is excluded from participating in the UEFA Club Competitions of the sporting season 2019/2020 as a consequence of the breach of its FFP break-even obligations during the 2015/2016/2017 and the 2016/2017/2018 monitoring periods”.
