Roma officially announced the acquisition of Bologna goalkeeper Antonio Mirante. The former Parma shot-stopper has officially joined the Giallorossi from the Rossoblu, who he joined in 2015. Here is the full announcement:
AS Roma are pleased to confirm that goalkeeper Antonio Mirante has joined the club from Serie A side Bologna. Mirante, 34, joins the Giallorossi for a fee of €4 million. The Italian has signed an three-year contract with the Giallorossi that runs until 30 June 2021.
“Becoming a Roma player is a proud moment for me,” Mirante said. “It was something that I really wanted – this is the right moment in my career and I think it will be a great step for me.”
