AS Roma announced the official acquisition of former Chelsea attacker Pedro.
The Spanish forward, 33, joins the Giallorossi on a three-year contract that runs until 30 June 2023.
“I am delighted to be here at Roma,” Pedro said to ASRoma.com. “I’m excited for this challenge and to compete to achieve our targets over the coming seasons. I want to thank the fans for the welcome they’ve given me. I hope to make them happy”.
The former Barcelona man joins Roma after having spent the past five seasons at the Blues.
Roma CEO Guido Fienga also discussed the arrival of the Spaniard with the club’s official website, “It’s a privilege for us to be able to welcome a player of Pedro’s quality to the Roma family. The hope we have, for both him and for us, is that he can continue to add to his extraordinary list of achievements with AS Roma”.
