Two former Roma midfielders have been reunited in Serie B.
Ex-Giallorossi man Radja Nainggolan has reunited with former teammate turned manager Daniele De Rossi at SPAL, who are owned by former Roma executive Joe Tacopina.
The club announced “Er Ninja” has signed a contract until June 30, 2023, with an automatic renewal for the 2023/24 football season upon the fulfillment of certain conditions.
The move marks Nainggolan’s return to Italy after spending the previous two years in his native Belgium with hometown club Royal Antwerp.
However, he terminated his contract with the club in December following two off-the-pitch incidents that included smoking an electronic cigarette on the bench ahead of a defeat versus Standard Liége.
