Roma have announced the official departure of club Vice President Mauro Baldissoni.

The two sides reached an agreement to bring an early end to their working relationship after Baldissoni submitted his letter of resignation, effective immediately, from his role as board member and Vice President of the club.

The 50 year-old joined the club in 2011 and was appointed General Director in July 2013, under Jim Pallotta’s presidency.

In February 2019 he was named AS Roma’s Vice President, tasked with managing the Stadio della Roma approval process.

The departure of Baldissoni is hardly a surprise and has been long-expected ever since Roma was acquired last month by Dan Ryan Friedkin.
