Official: Sabatini leaves Roma


Roma have officially announced that Walter Sabatini has left the club by mutual consent. The club released the following statement and named Ricky Massara as the heir to Sabatini:

AS Roma and Walter Sabatini announce that they have decided to end their relationship by mutual consent with effect as of tomorrow, 7 October, 2016.

AS Roma thanks Walter Sabatini for the work he has done in these five years and wishes him the best for the future.

“I would like to thank Walter for what he did for Roma and for his dedication to our club,” said the Chairman of AS Roma James Pallotta. “I would also like to thank him for everything that I learned from him. Stop smoking, please!”.

The sporting endeavors of the club will be entrusted to Frederic Massara.
