Roma officially announced that Mohammed Salah has been sold to Liverpool for a fee of €42 million plus €8 million in bonuses.
The Giallorossi announced the move after weeks of speculation and rumors surrounding the Egyptian. Coupled with the club’s need to earn €30 million before 30 June, the writing was on the wall for a big name to be sold.
The Egyptian took to his official Twitter account to thank the club and the fans for his two successful seasons.
