Roma officially announced the double signing of Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo from Inter as Radja Nainggolan departs the club.
AS Roma are delighted to announce the signing of defender Davide Santon on a permanent transfer. Santon joins from Serie A side Inter Milan for a fee of €9.5 million. The 27-year-old has signed a four-year contract that runs until 30 June 2022.
“I cannot wait to get started and show everyone what I can do,” Santon said. “Coming to Roma means a lot to me, I really wanted to make the move and being here now has given me a lot of motivation.”
Meanwhile the club also announced the singing of midfielder Nicole Zaniolo:
Roma are pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Inter for the transfer of Nicolo Zaniolo for €4.5 million. In the case of future any transfer of the player, Inter will be granted 15% of the transfer fee. The youngster has also signed a contract with Roma that will run until 30 June 2023.
“Being able to wear this shirt is an honor, now I have to demonstrate on the pitch my worth,” said the 18-year-old in his first interview with the Giallorossi.
