Roma announced their double piece of business just after midnight tonight on 1 July – which is the start of the 2019/2020 financial year. The Giallorossi announced the official sale of Luca Pellegrini to Juventus and the acquisition of Leonardo Spinazzola. Here are both announcements:
“AS Roma can confirm that the club has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of defender Luca Pellegrini. Pellegrini, 20, joins the Bianconeri for a fee of €22 million”.
“AS Roma announces the permanent acquisition from Juventus defender Leonardo Spinazzola for a fee of €29.5 million. The player has signed a contract that will expire on 30 June, 2023”.
