Official: Szczesny rejoins on loan

Roma have officially announced the loan move of Wojciech Szczesny, who rejoins Roma on a dry loan with no buying options, here is the full statement:

“The club can confirm Wojciech Szczesny will be a Roma player in 2016-17 after an agreement was reached with Arsenal FC to extend the Polish goalkeeper’s loan deal until 30 June 2017. It will be Szczesny’s second season in the Italian capital following his arrival last summer on loan from the Gunners. He played 42 matches for Roma in 2015-16: 34 in the league and eight in the Champions League.”

“‘I’m very happy,’ the Polish keeper declared to Roma TV, ‘After a good season last year I had possibility of coming back and I was very happy that the coach wanted me. I’m delighted to be back and I hope that we can improve on what we did last season.’”
