Cengiz Ünder has officially joined Premier League side Leicester City on loan.
The Giallorossi announced the move late this morning as they bid farewell to the Turkish attacker after three seasons.
“The club can confirm that Cengiz Under has today completed a move to English club Leicester City. The 23-year-old joins the Premier League side on a temporary loan basis until 30 June 2021,” read the statement.
“As part of the agreement, Leicester also have the option to make the transfer permanent ahead of the 2021-22 season”.
The option to buy that has been included in the deal has been rumored to be around €23 million. Ünder scored 17 goals for the club since joining in the summer of 2017 for a fee of €13.4 million.
