Ola Solbakken admits to Roma transfer: “My story with Bodo has ended.”

Norwegian attacker Ola Solbakken is set to become Roma’s first and primary reinforcement in the January window as the capital club reached an agreement with the player’s entourage for free transfer after the World Cup break.

Despite the Norwegian championship coming to a close in few weeks time, Bodo/Glimt continue to refuse to let Solbakken go before the expiry of his contract set for 31 December.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Solbakken was reportedly unhappy with how the Norwegian side handled his situation.

The Italian newspaper cited him saying, ”My story with Bodo/Glimt has probably come to an end. I realise it must be frustrating for the club to know that they won’t earn any money from my sale.”
