Everything is reportedly in place for Ola Solbakken’s arrival in the Italian capital in January after negotiations culminated in a recent agreement with the Giallorossi who had been in talks with Solbakken’s entourage for the past year.
As reported by calciomercato.com, GM Tiago Pinto has completed negotiations with the player’s agent and is now waiting for Solbakken to close his chapter at Bodo/Glimt and join the capital club as a free agent in the first week of January.
The 23-year-old forward is reportedly very eager to sign with Roma, and has been leading Bodo/Glimt in the final days of the Norwegian championship with four goals and seven assists to his name.
Jose Mourinho wanted to have Solbakken at his disposal for Roma’s training camp in Japan and Portugal later this year, but Bodo/Glimt refused to let him leave before December 31st – the day his contract is set to expire. Solbakken will sign until 2027 with the Giallororssi.
