Andy Mattioli

Norwegian attacker Ola Solbakken will soon become a new Roma player once his contract with Bodo/Glimt expires on 31 December.

The player’s entourage found an agreement with the Giallorossi earlier on at the start of the campaign over a free transfer which will entail a contract worth €1 million until 2027.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Solbakken has already admitted to the imminent move to Italy to the local media in Norway.

“I’m extremely grateful to Bodo/Glimt for all these years together,” said the 23-year-old attacker. “We became a small family and accomplished many great things. I am convinced that the boys will improve even more in the coming years.”

“Now a new chapter awaits. A new adventure begins. I will go and play in a great league and join a top club. It will be fun to start a new journey in a foreign league, and who knows, perhaps one day I’ll meet Bodo as an opponent.”
