Ola Solbakken gave his first official interview since his transfer switch from Roma to Olympiacos on Friday.
The Norwegian left the Giallorossi after just six months and joined the Greek side on loan with an option to buy.
“I’m really happy to be here, I can’t wait to get started,” he told the club’s official television channel.
“This is a big club that plays regularly in important European competitions. I was also fascinated by the attack-minded football the team plays. I’m an attacking player so I think this will allow me to show my strengths.”
He added, “This is the primary reason I think this is the right place for me to improve and play good football. There’s a huge fanbase here and I think we have a chance to make a good run in Europe.”
“I’m happy because this is a winning club and I want to help them keep winning both in the league and in the Europa League.”
