Ola Solbakken is edging closer to his long-awaited switch to Roma as a free agent as his time with Bodo/Glimt draws to an end.
As reported in today’s edition of Il Tempo, Solbakken – Roma’s primary reinforcement for January – is expected to land in Italy next week and meet with the club’s General Manager, Tiago Pinto, to finalize the contractual formalities ahead of his free transfer after the international break.
So far, Bodo/Glimt haven’t given Solbakken the necessary green light for the player to be able to join the Giallorossi’s upcoming trip in Japan and later on in Portugal.
Thus, the Norwegian attacker will only be allowed to sign with the capital club once the January window opens.
