Olsen’s Montpellier move collapsed due to agent commissions

The agreements were in place and the operation was essentially done. Robin Olsen was one step away from joining Montpellier on loan with an option to buy, but then everything collapsed. Il Messaggero reports that the reason the Swede’s move to the French side fell apart is because of a €100,000 commission request from the goalkeeper’s agents. Once this happened, Montpellier changed their minds and moved for Real Sociedad’s Rulli.
