Olympiakos manager Jose Luis Mendilibar was asked to compare the upcoming Conference League final with Fiorentina and the Europa League final from a year ago in Budapest.
During today’s pre-match press conference, the former Sevilla technician remarked, “They are different teams and circumstances that led us to this final. This is a different ending.”
“Roma were a more defensive team, Fiorentina on the other hand plays more offensively, attacking with many players,” he added.
“For this reason I believe it will be a much more open match than the one against Roma from a year ago.”
