Despite putting in a good shift in Roma’s final stretch of the season – coming off the bench in the Conference League final and providing Mourinho’s team with a boost in the midfield – Jordan Veretout is linked with an exit in the summer.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Veretout is being pursued by Olympique de Marseille. The French giants had been linked with the ex-Fiorentina man already in January, when the 29-year-old lost his regular place in Mourinho’s starting eleven.
The Italian newspaper reports that Roma want at least €15 million for Veretout.
Last week Marseille received the green light from the Court Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne which lifted the temporary transfer ban and consequently will allow Pablo Longoria’s club to be active in the upcoming transfer window.
