Palermo deny Vazquez talks with Roma

John Solano

Guglielmo Micciche, Vice President of Palermo, spoke today to calciomercato.it to deny the rumors that his clubs are in talks to sell Franco Vazquez to Roma:

“There is no real negotiation. There have been inquiries, but the operation is not materially made. We expect important revenues from the sale of Vazquez so we have no hurry. There is no doubt that the player is liked by many, Sabatini said this to me personally at the last meeting between Roma and Palermo. There are also British clubs interested and not only Tottenham. The price? The one that president Zamparini gave of €25 million: this is a figure we won’t move from.”
