After bringing in Tammy Abraham from Chelsea, General Manager Tiago Pinto will focus on finding suitable destinations for several players excluded from Roma’s plans going forward.
Rumors of providing Mourinho with another midfielder are also gaining ground given a potential exit of either Amadou Diawara or Gonzalo Villar. Diawara has been heavily linked with Wolverhampton over the last week.
Teleradiostereo report that Roma’s latest ideas for the midfield include two players offered by superstar agent Jorge Mendes: Sporting’s Palhinha and Porto’s Sergio Oliveira. The former is also closely followed by Tottenham Hotspurs.
A lot will depend on whether Roma will be able to off-load names such as Florenzi, Nzonzi and Olsen. The capital club, however, remain active on the market.
