Ansa have reported that Roma president James Pallotta has landed in London as the club are close to announcing the arrival of Paulo Fonseca as the new manager. Contact between Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk has been constant as the two sides are finalising the operation with the white smoke expected within the next 48 hours. The Portuguese will fly to London to join Pallotta with the rest of Roma’s management once the final details have been concluded — the Rome-based executives such as Fienga and Baldissoni will fly to London tomorrow to join the American president as well as Franco Baldini.
