Pallotta arrives this week

Roma president James Pallotta will arrive in the capital this week. According to Il Corriere dello Sport, one of the several items on Pallotta’s agenda is to discuss the futures of Sabatini and Spalletti.

Reportedly, Sabatini intends to end his relationship with Roma and has given his agent the task of negotiating with the club should his contract, which expires in June, be terminated. Sabatini has often changed his mind about whether to resign or not, but it appears he is now convinced to continue until the transfer window in January, however, this could easily change.

Meanwhile, Spalletti has already received at least two invitations to extend the contract, which also expires in June, but he is taking his time. Pallotta would like to continue these talks upon touching down in Rome.
