Pallotta dispels Manolas transfer rumors

Despite not having yet agreed to an improved contract, Roma president assured fans of Kostas Manolas’ future when speaking to Il Tempo.

“Why the hell would he (Manolas) want to leave? We brought in two experienced defenders (Juan Jesus and Nacho, who Pallotta confirmed will arrive) and they will give us a big hand. The team is already working hard and will be ready for the playoffs of the Champions League.”

There have been rumors that the Greek has been very unhappy with the wage offers from Roma for his new contract and that the Giallorossi would entertain offers for €45 million for the player. However, it’s unlikely he leaves this summer.
