Pallotta: “Fonseca’s future isn’t in doubt”.

Roma president James Pallotta took to Twitter today to publicly back Giallorossi manager Paulo Fonseca.

The Portuguese boss has come under fire over the last few days following two dreadful performances from his side, which resulted in consecutive 2-0 losses.

There have been whispers that Roma could sack the former Shakhtar Donetsk manager, who arrived at the club last summer, as the club’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League have effectively been dashed.

Pallotta, though, has come to the defence of Fonseca despite being engaged in negotiations for the sale of AS Roma.

The Bostonian has engaged in talks with The Friedkin Group since October and is looking for an exit from the club.
