Thomas Vermaelen is joining Roma.
The Belgian defender, as confirmed by his parent club Barcelona, will arrive at 13.51 CET to take his medical at Villa Stuart before officially joining he Giallorossi.

Roma president James Pallotta gave a brief statement to Il Corriere dello Sport to express his happiness at the deal being nearly complete for the Belgian:
“Vermaelen? I am very happy. He is a good
purchase and a great reinforcement for the defence.”
Vermaelen joins Roma on loan for €2 million with an option to buy for a further €10 million.
