Roma released a statement today addressing the controversy surrounding the Stadio della Roma after nine individuals connected to the project were arrested, though, none of them are employees of the club. Here is the full statement:

Roma president Jim Pallotta is confident at the Roma Stadium. Earlier today, nine individuals – none of them AS Roma employees – were arrested by police in connection with an investigation into aspects of the Tor di Valle project.

Prosecutors confirmed that AS Roma are not involved in the ongoing investigation. “We’re saddened and dismayed by today’s allegations and arrests,” Pallotta said. AS the prosecutor categorically stated earlier, AS Rome has nothing to do with this.
