Roma are very interested in Uruguayan international Matias Viña to replace injured left back Leonardo Spinazzola.
The Italian international is expected to be out until at least January, forcing Roma to pursue a replacement on the transfer market.
After evaluating several profiles, the 23 year-old Viña has emerged as one of the options that the Giallorossi like most. However, Sky Sport reports that Palmeiras have slapped a very high price tag on him: €18 million.
It’s an incredibly high figure that Roma consider excessive—if Palmeiras stay firm in their request, the capital club will abandon their pursuit and focus on acquiring a Europe-based left back on loan.
