The latest name to be linked with the capital club in this summer transfer window is that of Palmeiras midfielder Danilo.
According to Il Tempo, Danilo has been offered to Roma through various intermediaries.
Despite his young age, the 21-year-old player has already collected well over 100 appearances for the Brazilian club.
Roma like him because of his technical quality and ability to play out from the back.
However, Palmeiras are currently asking for €25 million for the midfielder – a fee deemed significantly too high by the Giallorossi – and Danilo’s lack of European experience may explain Roma’s hesitant attitude towards this deal.
