Leandro Paredes could leave Roma earlier than expected.

The Argentine’s contract with the capital club runs out in June 2025, but the lack of playing time under coach Ivan Juric could spur the ex-PSG man to anticipate his departure.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Paredes hasn’t taken too kindly the fact that he went from undisputed starter under Daniele De Rossi to warming the bench with Juric in charge.

As a result, Paredes has already started looking into the possibility of returning to Boca Juniors in January where his good friend, Gago, is the new manager.

The two have already discussed a possible switch involving the Roma midfielder.

The Giallorossi would not earn anything from Paredes’ departure given the imminent expiry of his deal.
