Paredes likely to remain

Tuttobolognaweb.it have reported that despite a new opening made possible for midfielder Amadoun Diawara, the Guinean midfielder will not join Roma as the Giallorossi are ready to confirm Leandro Paredes’ stay as a pivotal member of the midfield.

The Giallorossi and Napoli both held talks for Diawara, however, both operations stalled and a transfer never came to fruition. Furthermore, the good performances of Paredes in the preseason have impressed Spalletti: with the Tuscan manager deciding there is no need to purchase Diawara.
