Roma are hours away from yet another must-win showdown, this time with Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico.
Today’s media predictions claim that Mourinho’s starting formation will include Leandro Paredes and Gianluca Mancini – both of whom had been doubtful ahead of today’s match.
According to Il Messaggero, Paredes was extremely questionable given a heavy recent blow to his right ankle which he suffered in Roma’s win over Cremonese. The Argentine midfielder did not require stitches but was still limping visibly in training.
In the meantime, Mancini continues to deal with a painful chronic groin injury which prevents him from training with the rest of the team on most days.
Both players are expected to play through their respective injuries.
