Roma continue their search for a new sporting director.
The capital club are yet to appoint Tiago Pinto’s replacement after the Portuguese executive left the Giallorossi in February.
According to the latest report by calciomercato.com, Roma are primarily focusing on directors working within the Italian world of football with Monza exec Francois Modesto being currently deemed the favorite to land the job given his ties with Roma CEO Lina Souloukou.
However, the news portal also suggests that Parma sporting director Mauro Pederzoli has been added to the long list of candidates.
The Italian director has vast experience of working both in Serie A and Serie B and this experience is an important asset for the capital club.
