Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross did not mince words when analyzing his side’s defeat to Roma.

Following last night’s crushing 4-0 loss to the Giallorossi at the Stadio Olimpico in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16, Gross expressed his disappointment in an interview with Sussex World.

“We felt prepared and positive as always before the start of the match,” said the veteran player. “Then we conceded two goals which are inadmissible at this level and to make things worse, we failed to score ourselves.”
