La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira has reported that Roma’s Javier Pastore has refused two offers from China this summer. Reportedly, the Argentine has no interest in leaving the capital and wants to try and capture a place in Fonseca’s 4-2-3-1 formation. Pastore was often deployed as a mezz’ala last season under Eusebio Di Francesco and struggled adapting.
