Roma midfielder Javier Pastore addressed his future today as he continues to be linked with a return to Argentina.
‘El Flaco’ has been linked with an exit from the Giallorossi throughout the past year. Roma are eager to offload Pastore from their wage bill but the player himself admitted that the situation isn’t straightforward.
“My situation at Roma isn’t easy,” said the ex-PSG man to MundoD.
“But everything will reopen in June and we’ll see what happens with the club. I talked a lot with the President of Talleres and he did everything he could to bring me back to the club in January. However, it wasn’t possible at the time.”
“My desire to return to Argentine is still there, but I want to be able to do well and contribute when I get there. Now isn’t the time to talk about this, though. I haven’t played for almost one year and I need to get my pace back. Though, I feel very good and I want to play,” he concluded.
