Javier Pastore is one of the many players excluded from Mourinho’s preseason list who spends these days training individually at Trigoria. The Argentinian midfielder has been instructed by General Manager Tiago Pinto to leave the Roman club.
However, Pastore recently gave an interview to Sofoot.com where he sounded reluctant about leaving the Italian capital anytime soon.
“We’ll see if there any good options to leave Roma, otherwise we’ll have to wait until January.”
The player continued:
“It’s not easy for clubs after a year and a half of Covid.”
The former PSG man is one of the highest earners at Roma with a contract of €4.5 million set to expire in 2023 despite having only featured in 33 matches since he joined the club in the summer of 2018.
