Roma midfiedler Javier Pastore recently returned to training following a seven months long injury layoff.
The Argentine returned to full training a few weeks ago, however, manager Paulo Fonseca has yet to use him in a match. The Portuguese tactician doesn’t have Pastore in his plans and it’s increasingly likely that he will leave in the coming months.
France Football reports that Pastore’s agent, Marcelo Simonian, has been in contact with clubs from Qatar for his client. The midfielder’s contract doesn’t expire until June 2023, but Roma are eager for him to depart.
Pastore hasn’t featured since 28 June against Milan but remains the second highest paid player at Roma, earning €4.5 million (net) annually.
