Shot-stopper Pau Lopez is no longer a Roma player.
The Spaniard – who joined Marseille in the summer window on loan – has made his 20th appearance for the French giants, triggering the obligation to buy on the part of OM, as reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.
The obligation is worth €12 million. Roma paid for Lopez around €26 million as well as half of ex-Roma’s Antonio Sanabria’s sale value.
Lopez thus concludes his chapter at Roma once and for all after making 77 appearances across all competitions from 2019 to 2021.
