Pau Lopez is ready to begin a new chapter in his career in France. After two rather inconsistent seasons at Roma (76 appearances in total) and missed national team call-up to the Euros, the Spanish shot-stopper wants to prove himself once again on a new stage.
According to Sky Sport, tomorrow morning Lopez will be in Marseille to undergo his medical before signing his contract with Les Olympiens. The loan will be up to €1mln with an obligation to buy for €12mln that will be triggered once the player reaches 20 appearances in the upcoming season.
With Lopez gone, Roma are getting ready to welcome Rui Patricio, on his way out of Wolverhampton, and Mourinho’s preferred choice for the goal-keeper role. The deal is close to being done and an announcement could be made by the end of this week.
