Pau Lopez urges Roma not to underestimate Benevento ahead of kick-off: “Tonight won’t be easy.”

Roma shot stopper Pau Lopez urged his side not to underestimate Benevento this evening as the two sides square off in Campagnia.

The Spaniard, who recently recaptured his starting position under managed Paulo Fonseca, was adamant that it would be a mistake to take Pippo Inzaghi’s men lightly.

“It’s always difficult to win in the league. These three points are important for us – we know it will be tough tonight but we want to win,” he said to Roma TV.

“We’re going through a good spell but it would be a mistake to underestimate Benevento. We must be focused on this game and the three points that are up for grabs.”

“It’s a positive for me to be able to play with continuity but I’m just worried about helping the team. I hope to continue like this, though.”
