Roma are awaiting further clarifications with regards to Paulo Dybala’s condition after the player suffered an injury last night.

Following his exit in the first half versus Cagliari, it was confirmed that Dybala had suffered a knee sprain.

However, the extent of the injury and the potential timeline of recovery is yet to be determined by the club’s medical staff.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are very worried about the Argentine’s status and fear he could be out of action for at least months depending on the severity of the sprain which may include damage to the collateral ligaments of the knee.

There is even a concrete chance Dybala could come back only in 2024, writes the newspaper.

More tests will follow in the coming days with the objective of establishing the degree of the injury’s severity.
